In this special episode of Hard Beautiful Journey, I had the incredible honor of sitting down with my dear friend and spiritual guide, Marliana Alisemon. Our conversation was filled with laughter, deep insights, and a whole lot of heart. We’ve been on a parallel journey of healing together, and I’m so excited to share her amazing story and powerful gifts with all of you.
How We Met
I first met Marliana through the Divinity Expo, an event that brought together spiritual advisors, healers, and psychics. One of my roles was to vet the advisors, so naturally, I reached out for a reading. I hoped to connect with my brother who had passed away, and from the very first phone call, I knew Marliana was different. There was this immediate connection, and we instantly clicked.
From that first reading, my brother came through like a star, sharing messages that were not only healing but transformative for me. It was the start of a beautiful friendship and a powerful spiritual connection that continues to guide my journey today.
Marliana’s Journey: From Childhood to Spiritual Awakening
Marliana has been connected to the spiritual realm for as long as she can remember. As a young child, she experienced vivid, eerie moments that left her feeling different from those around her. While others might have dismissed or ignored these experiences, Marliana knew that they were part of something greater. However, like many of us, she spent years trying to numb the pain and avoid her gifts.
But a life-changing car accident five years ago blew her wide open. Marliana and her family survived a crash that could have taken their lives, and from that moment, she realized that her purpose was much bigger than she had ever imagined. It was time to fully step into her gifts and share them with the world.
Since then, she has publicly embraced her role as a psychic medium, energy worker, and healer, and she’s been changing lives ever since.
A Healing Process Like No Other
One of the most unique aspects of Marliana’s work is her ability to channel healing through art. During her readings, she often feels guided to release heavy emotions by creating “release paintings.” These aren’t just any paintings – they are deeply personal and infused with healing symbols, energy, and colors that are chosen specifically for the person she’s working with.
I have my own collection of Marliana’s paintings, and each one holds a special place in my heart. The Rollercoaster of Writing My Book
Marliana has been such a vital part of my journey this past year as I wrote my book, Dancing in the Rain. There were times when fear would try to paralyze me, and I’d be texting her, asking if I was crazy for sharing my story. She reminded me over and over that fear was my biggest block and that once I let go of it, I would find the flow.
And she was right. Every time I released my fear, the words would pour out like lava, and the chapters would practically write themselves. Her encouragement was priceless, and she has been by my side, cheering me on, holding me up, and reminding me of my “why.”
Raging & Healing Together
One of my favorite memories with Marliana was the day we went to a "rage room". Yes, you read that right – a room where you can smash old TVs, phones, and glass for 45 minutes! It was one of the most cathartic, healing experiences we’ve had. We laughed, we raged, and we broke things in the name of healing. I highly recommend it if you need to release some pent-up energy!
